Wrinkle Paint

BPS high temperature wrinkle paint is made with a special patented formula, unique in the world

This is the famous paint called wrinkle paint which is found on the engines of Ferraris and Lamborghinis but also on the engines of the integral Lancia Delta HF

It has some main characteristics that make it unique in the world and is produced only in Italy.

- It is the only paint in the world with a wrinkle effect to restore Ferrari and Lamborghini engines

- Once hardened it is harder and more resistant than the catalysed

- Its secret formula is single component, so beware of fake 2K imitations

- Resistant to petrol, oils and grease thinners and is scratch resistant (see the data sheet to better understand its characteristics and drying times)

- Resist the heat of the engine, brake calipers, radiator, intake manifold (not good for exhausts)

- Remain unchanged over the years if applied on its special 1K primer

Our paint exists in a professional spray format or a professional liquid format that can be applied with a bodywork gun with a nozzle of 1.0 to 1.4 maximum with a suggested pressure of 1.5/2.5 bar depending on the size of the pieces.

The BPS wrinkle paint for engines does not require special procedures or equipment and dries only and exclusively with the aid of a heat source (see application sheet).

If it is not subjected to the right heat, it dries but does not wrinkle (see application sheet)
